Having been a Corpsman of Marines x 21/4 yrs, with one tour in Vietnam it was a very good read. Better was the fact that there were stories about corpsman I served with - all Great Marine Doc's!

Like No Other

This book is one of the most gut-wrenching books I've ever read. You get a completely new perspective of the wars that you thought you knew the history of. I've recommended this book to ever history major, nurse, and war buff that I know; and I highly suggest you get it as well.

An Average book

Although well written, I found the stories a little short, leaving much to the imagination and a lot of questions still unanswered. I was expecting a lot more information on this subject, and have yet to find a book that satisfies. With that said, it does make for a nice reading when there is nothing else left to read.
