Before the heartbreak, the life-altering choices, and real life closed in on them, they were just two kids in love.
Nick Sutter, the town bad boy, star of Pittsford High School’s football team, and all around playboy wasn’t used to having to work for dates. Leah Carmichael, Pittsford’s Golden Girl, and star on the track team had no desire to land a boyfriend. When she walked into Physics class on the first day of school her junior year, and realized who was in her class, she vowed to ignore him. Nick had no intention of letting her off the hook though. He patiently waited until the right moment to let her know he wanted her.
Unable to resist him, Leah agreed to go on a date. Try as she might, the feelings she’d been suppressing all year came to the surface, and washed over her like a tidal wave. She wanted him, and he wanted her, but…Nick had scouts ready to make his football dreams a reality.
Deciding that Leah was more important than his future, Nick gave up his chance to play at the college level. He chose to stay behind, and build the foundation for what he thought would be a solid future for him and Leah. Only Leah had other plans… she wanted to get out of Pittsford as fast as possible, and was willing to give up anything to do it, including Nick. When the Olympic scouts offered her a chance of a lifetime, she couldn’t tell them ‘no.’
We saw forgiveness in Shattered, desire in Restored, and unconditional love in Renewed. Now, see how it all started in Destined- Nick and Leah’s beginning.
This book contains strong language, graphic sexual situation, and may not be suitable for readers under the age of 17.

LOVED IT
By B&B Book Blog
Destined by Heather D'Agostino. Destined 0.5 is a prequel in the Shattered series. If you haven't read the previous 3 books I'd suggest reading Destined first it just gives you great background look into Nick and Leahs relationship from the start.
If you have read them do yourself a favor go read Destined it's a wonderful prequel.
We have bad boy Nick and good girl Leah so polar opposite they couldn't be less alike or do they have more in common than they think? I love watching their relationship from the very start. I love the banter and how Nick just makes Leah so mad with his smart mouth.
“So, do you ever get tired of doing the right thing?” Nick snickered as he pushed open the door of his truck and grinned at me. “What are you talking about?” I rolled my eyes. “Like you care about anything. If you’re able to do the right thing, you should,” I glared at him. “Well I guess so…if you’re perfect,” he groaned and turned away from me. “What’s that supposed to mean?” I whipped around.
“Figure it out, Golden Girl.
Oh Nick Nick Nick just admit you looovvee her ;)
Nick and Leah's story isn't easy and it's very heartbreaking. You can't help but cheer for them to make it for the long haul. Some people are just made for each other and these two beautiful young people are definitely meant to be.
I absolutely love this authors writing style. The flow of the story is perfect and so easy to lose yourself in. The characters are people you could easily be friends with.
The dialouge is realistic and the situations in the story very believable.
Looking forward to reading more from this amazing author.

A Good Read!
By Amazeballs Book Addicts
I read book one, two, and three is the Shattered series before reading Destined. Destined is book 0.5. If you haven't started the Shattered series, I recommend you start with Destined. It was nice to see Nick and Leah before their relationship got complicated. I loved reading Nick and Leah's story. It goes back to the beginning and we get to see how their relationship started and read about them falling in love. If you already read the other books in the series you know the direction their relationship is going. It's kind of bittersweet to read it because they are so happy together but you know that their relationship is going to have some major changes.
It's a great read. I wish I haven't read the other books in the series first but it was still a great book.

LOVED IT! This book takes a look back at ...
By Heather Ray
LOVED IT! This book takes a look back at Nick and Leah from when they are were in high school to how they ended up at the beginning of Shattered. It is not a stand alone due to it really helps tie together the others in the series. Even though I knew how this would end I was hooked, yup like the others, and did not put this one down. (No sleep that night) The details were so realistic that I could picture walking down the hallways, having lunch, going to the track. There were parts where I could feel their pain and heartache. It shows typical high school drama and some unusual love between sweethearts. Oh and we get a small picture of Cam and Avery too.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
