Helpful info for potential buyers

This is not the 2015 edition as listed by Amazon, it is the original 1989 edition. The entire book is handwritten pages, looks like someone's class notes, which makes it difficult to read and decipher. Returned for both these reasons, there are other more helpful books on the subject out there.

This is THE book I have been looking for...without even knowing it really existed.

Ok, so I am in the minority here. I LOVE THIS BOOK. Yes, it's handwritten. There is not a bit of type anywhere inside the covers. However , the handwriting is like that block architecture writing you see on blueprints. Very precise and pretty to very easy to read. Perhaps its because in massage school I spent hours pouring over The Anatomy Coloring book which is written in the same style and I am used to it, but if you can get past the type, you will be so glad you hung in there. It's like a good foreign movie with subtitles. The content is so good that after a while, not only do you not mind, but you don't even notice you are reading something you are not used to.
This book lists many of the everyday acute and chronic conditions we see as practitioners and gives you examples of what it looks like in the iris. Then, not only does it help you identify, but it gives you more insight as to causes, what other organs may also be affected , indications, symptoms, wholistic relationships and suggested treatment options. This is a definite desktop reference for a practicing iridologist. The only thing that would have been helpful would be either a table of contents or an index. Not necessary as it's all in alpha order, but would have been nice. I think I will get the coloring book now that I see how awesome this book is. Look past the block lettering. It's just different. Not worse...different.

I really don't like the illustrations because they are hard to interpret. There is too much information in each page so it looks very cluttered.
